Plast is currently run by Malwine Farwig, Hannah Francke, Henry Giggenbach and Tatjana Hub.It was initially founded in 2021 by Malwine Farwig, Henry Giggenbach, Philip Hagen, Inka Hilsenbek, Tatjana Hub, Laura Wichmann and Vincent Wolff.
With our small but growing artist run space in Leipzig East we focus on exhibiting local and international emerging artists, which follow a contemporary and critical approach in a variety of media, including installation, sculpture, photography, time based media, writing, performance, painting – giving a platform to experiment and inviting a public to connect and discuss.
This website is another tool to preserve the developed projects and make them accessible around the internet. Due to project specification, sometimes information is only in English or German, by now.
