Sick Love Zine
23.-24.9.22
Sick Love Presents is a 4 part print project offering insight into underground creative scenes in Europe, platforming those at the forefront of artistic and social development in their respective cities. We visited Leipzig, Warsaw, Kyiv and Glasgow before touching down in London again. Stepping outside of this box has led us to discover cities, cultures and creatives that have not only inspired us but opened our eyes to the magnitude of thriving communities outside of our own spaces and the incredible work they produce.
This project features acclaimed artists such as Agata Slowak, Gorsad Kyiv and Trackie Mcleod amongst others, offering insight into the livelihoods of three artists in each city.
In the wake of this release, we are looking to celebrate the talent of those involved through a series of exhibitions and events in our chosen areas. We are collaborating with Plast Space to bring this to fruition, displaying the work of featured artists alongside the zines themselves.
Join us for the opening on the 23rd of September from 6-9pm. We will be selling prints, drinks and offering space for everyone to sit and socialize.
Poster featuring painting by @mary.lydon and graphic by @vesperarsncx – both of whom are featured in this exhibition.
